Anna Faris reveals son Jack, 11 – whom she has with ex Chris Pratt

Anna Faris is a mother coping with the changes as her son grows up.

The 47-year-old actress, who has 11-year-old Jack with her ex-husband Chris Pratt (45), announced that the young man is just entering puberty.

“He told me he thinks he has armpit hair,” the comedian told Hoda Kotb and Justin Sylvester on Today on Monday. “It happens.”

Faris was there to promote her upcoming film “My Spy: The Eternal City.”

Sylvester advised the loving mother: “Get ready, darling. It’s happening. Get all the hugs and kisses now.”

The “House Bunny” star said she “misses” when her son was little, “sometimes when you look at old photos, but I really love that age.”

Nevertheless, the young man still needs his mother.

“What drives me a little crazy about Jack – and I think most kids – is when they say, ‘Mommy, where’s my backpack?’ when it’s right there.”

“How do I teach him to just look?” she asked.

The “Estate” star has some experience dealing with teenagers thanks to her two stepchildren, whom she has with husband Michael Barrett.

The actress and the cameraman met on the set of “Overboard” in 2018, got engaged in 2019 and eloped two years later.

Barrett is the father of two children, a 20-year-old daughter and a 17-year-old son.

“When I first came into their lives, I didn’t know how to deal with them. I remember trying to be really cool, like turning up the music, like regulator, when I picked up my stepdaughter (from school), for example. Of course, she was embarrassed.”

Despite the rocky start, Faris said she now gets along well with her stepchildren.

The “Mom” star has high praise for Jack’s stepmother, Katherine Schwarzenegger, 34, who is expecting her third child with Pratt.

“She’s just in a great mood. I love the way she handles Jack,” she told People in November 2022.

“My Spy: The Eternal City” is scheduled to hit theaters on Friday, July 18.
