Jones joined the Elks for a second term as head coach in December 2021, but the team struggled under his leadership.

Under Jones’ leadership, the club posted a record of 8-33 in more than two seasons, including two seasons (2021 and 2022) without a win at Commonwealth Stadium as part of a 22-game home losing streak.

Jones was head coach of the Elks in 2014 and 2015 and led the team to the Grey Cup title.

There’s more to come.
