From Rihanna to Andrea Bocelli – all the singers who performed during Anant Ambani’s wedding celebrations!

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant hired a number of singers to perform at their pre-wedding events and their lavish wedding in Mumbai over the weekend.

Billionaire heir Anant Amabani married Radhika Merchant in Mumbai over the weekend following a series of events and ceremonies leading up to the wedding, from a lavish party in March to a four-day Mediterranean cruise in June.

The dazzling, extravagant events included performances by artists such as Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Luis Fonsi and Rema.

Ambani, 29, is the youngest son of billionaire business tycoon Mukesh Ambani, chairman and chief executive of Reliance Industries. Mukesh is the richest man in Asia, and Forbes estimates his net worth at around $124 billion.

Merchant, 29, is the daughter of pharmaceutical magnates Viren and Shaila Merchant, who founded Encore Healthcare.

It was truly an international affair with actors, politicians and celebrities from around the world in attendance. Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Boris Johnson, John Cena, Nicky Hilton, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra were all in attendance, as were Bollywood actors Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Deepika Padukone.

Rema and Fonsi performed at the couple’s wedding ceremony, singing their respective hits “Calm Down” and “Despacito.”

Just last weekend, Bieber performed at the couple’s sangeet ceremony, a pre-marital celebration that traditionally involves music and dancing. The pop singer belted out his chart-topping hits, including “Baby,” “Love Yourself,” “Where Are Ü Now” and “Peaches.”

Rihanna was one of many performers at the three-day pre-wedding party in March. The 36-year-old “Diamonds” singer performed on the first day in front of 1,200 guests in Jamnagar, Gujarat.

She wore a sparkly light green long-sleeved dress and pink boots while singing her hits such as “Work,” “B—- Better Have My Money,” “All of the Lights,” and “We Found Love.”

During her performance, the singer called out to the couple: “We are here tonight to honor Anant. Thank you for letting me be here. God bless your union. I wish you all the best. Congratulations.”

Rihanna then joined the guests on the dance floor and was seen dancing alongside Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor in a video posted on X.

Akon, Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh and Bollywood singers Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal also performed at the party.

Two months after the Jamnagar celebrations, the couple hosted 800 guests on a luxury cruise ship that stopped in Sicily, Rome, Cannes and Portofino. The four-day event also featured performances by Perry, the Backstreet Boys, David Guetta, Pitbull and Andrea Bocelli.

The band performed a surprise concert for the couple on the first night of the cruise during a celebratory Starry Night-themed party. In a video uploaded to Instagram, the group members – Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, AJ McLean and Kevin Richardson – were seen wearing all-white outfits while singing their hits like “I Wanna Be With You” and “Everybody.”

Guetta performed during a party on the ship after guests spent the day in Rome. In a video uploaded to Instagram, Guetta, 56, was seen playing a DJ set while guests danced.

On the third day of the cruise, the couple hosted a masked ball at the Château de la Croix des Gardes in Cannes, where Perry also performed. The 34-year-old “California Girls” singer wore a silver metallic dress and sang “Firework” while real fireworks went off over the venue.

Perry’s performance was followed by a Pitbull concert after guests returned on board.

The final performance took place in Portofino, after the family rented out the main square and turned it into an open-air market with food stalls. The evening ended with a concert by Bocelli, where he sang “I Found My Love in Portofino” and “Can’t Help Falling in Love.”

This is not the first time that the Ambani family has hired famous artists to perform at family events. In 2018, Beyoncé and John Legend performed at Isha Ambani’s wedding reception, and in 2019, Marron 5, Chris Martin and The Chainsmokers performed at Akash Ambani’s wedding festivities.
