ENCO Systems extends the SPECai tool to include AI voice cloning

ENCO Systems has announced that a new generative AI voice cloning feature has been added to its SPECai tool for creating specialty spots for radio. SPECai, in partnership with Benztown and Compass Media Networks, can now replicate a voice from a user-uploaded audio sample.

This feature supports not only English but also Spanish, including regional accents. By analyzing the audio provided, SPECai allows users to customize the tone and emotion of the cloned voice to better suit their advertising needs.

The entire platform was recently launched by Beasley Media Group across the network’s 11 markets and 59 stations. Other companies using the product include Connoisseur Media, Summit Media, Magnum Communications, Bennett Radio Group, Black Diamond Broadcasting, Local Media San Diego and Yavapai Broadcasting.

ENCO launched the platform in October, with Compass leading domestic sales and marketing while Benztown handled international accounts and sound design.

Ken Frommert, President of ENCO Systems, said, “The voice of the company or radio station now has a powerful tool to add credibility to their AI-specific spots. SPECai has already been a game changer for radio stations and advertisers looking to streamline their ad production and reduce their costs. Our instant voice cloning feature reinforces SPECai’s value proposition by providing users with a simple and straightforward workflow to upload their own voice samples that they are authorized to use and create compelling ads that more effectively engage audiences and sponsors.”
