Is Taylor Swift’s new “TTPD” dress an Easter egg? Fans are already thinking

For Swifties, Easter eggs never end. On July 13, Taylor Swift brought the Eras Tour to Milan and the singer presented a new dress for her for the first time Department for Tortured Poets Set. Vivienne Westwood’s outfit was similar to what Swift had already worn for this part of the concert, but with one major change: the lyrics on her skirt. At previous shows, the skirt featured the lyrics of “Fortnight (feat. Post Malone)”, also known as the first single from TTPDHowever, the new outfit features lyrics from “Who’s Afraid Of Little Old Me?”, sparking theories among fans that Swift could be hinting at something big – her next single.

The latest version of the TTPD The dress features the text “Who’s afraid of little old me? You should be.” Swifties are speculating that Swift’s fashion choice could be an Easter egg. “I think this is Taylor’s way of telling us that Who’s afraid of little old me? will be the next single,” wrote one fan on X, formerly Twitter. Another tweeted: “Who’s Afraid Of Little Old Me confirmed as second single?”

The fact that all of this happened on July 13 is also significant. Swift famously considers 13 to be her lucky number. If there was one date she was likely to drop a hint, it would be the thirteenth.

However, other Swifties believe that the singer may have alerted them to another important announcement: Call (Taylor’s Version). The TTPD dress wasn’t the only outfit change Swift made. She also wore a new dress for her Fearless Set that draws comparisons with her outfits from the Call Stadium tour. “THE NEW FEARLESS DRESS IS SO FAMOUS!!!” tweeted one fan.

For Swifties who believe in this theory, the new TTPD Dress also feels a bit Call-It is no exaggeration to say that “Who’s Afraid Of Little Old Me?” and “Look What You Made Me Do” are thematically similar.

The fans gave everyone Representative-coded Clues after Taylor Nation joked about the Call Bodysuit to X. (In case you missed it, Swift has changed all of her outfits on tour except for her snake-themed set.) On July 9, a fan tweeted, “The day she performs the repertoire set in anything other than that bodysuit will be like watching the damn moon landing.” Taylor Nation responded, “You’re not wrong 😋.”

In the meantime, there’s always a chance that Swifties can look forward to a single announcement for “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?”
