Hit singer comes to Modesto’s Fruit Yard with popular band in September
The Fruit Yard Amphitheater has added country star Dwight Yoakam to this season’s artist roster.
Country group The Mavericks will also play with Yoakam.
Yoakam brings his “Cosmic Roundup & Rodeo Tour” to the Modesto venue on September 26th at 6 p.m. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 21st at 10 a.m.
Grammy winner Yoakam is known for his own hits as well as cover versions such as “Long Way to Go,” “Ain’t That Lonely Yet,” “Fast As You,” “Things Change,” “Streets of Bakersfield” and “Honky Tonk Man.”
The Mavericks are known for songs such as “All You Ever Do Is Bring Me Down”, “What A Crying Shame” and “Here Comes the Rain”.
Yoakam and The Mavericks join the rest of the season’s roster, including Midland (July 26), Walker Hayes (August 8), El Festival De Íconos De La Musica Femenina Hispana Tour (August 24), ERNEST (September 14) and Chris Janson (September 20).
The official name is The Fruit Yard Chicken Ranch Casino Resort Amphitheater and the address is 7948 Yosemite Blvd. There are lawn and reserved seating for about 3,500 people.
