TheModdingGoat has released a new quest mod for Fallout 4 called “The New Adventures of The Silver Shroud”. This is a new and exciting quest mod that focuses on further adventures of The Silver Shroud, so let’s take a look.

Featuring a return to old-fashioned branching Fallout dialogue, The New Adventures of The Silver Shroud promises a journey where your choices have some meaning. The mod is said to be full of scripted boss battles, professional voice acting, and a custom boss theme. Additionally, the mod features a reimagined old Fallout 3 enemy and dialogue that reflects your actions within the mod and in the game itself.

To start the mod, you must first complete the standard quest “Silver Shroud”, wait four days and then listen to radio station 19.8.

The modder suggests using it on a new game, but you can also use it on your current playthrough and in theory it shouldn’t cause any conflicts or problems.

You can download this quest mod using this link. You will also find a trailer for it at the end of the article.

If you’re interested in Fallout 4, you might also be interested in these other mods for it. For example, there’s a LOD mod that reduces pop-ins from distant objects/shadows/textures. Then we have the Disk Cache Enabler mod. There’s also a mod that adds ragdoll physics and dead body collisions. Another great mod is this one that fixes the game’s long loading times. DirectHit is a mod that reworks the enemy AI. And let’s not forget this mod that deals real location-based damage to all enemies. A few days ago, we also shared this mod that adds 10 drivable cars/vehicles with Havok physics to the game.

To improve graphics or performance, you can use the following mods. For example, there are various HD texture packs. You can download either this 8K texture pack or this 41GB 4K texture pack that optimizes all 40,962 textures. There is also a mod that improves the faces of over 1450 NPCs. Finally, there is a mod that adds support for NVIDIA DLSS 2, AMD FSR 2, and Intel XeSS. Oh, and there is a mod that adds AMD FSR 3.0 Frame Generation to the game.

Let’s also not forget the DLC-sized expansion mods you can get for F4. Fallout New Vegas Remake in Fallout 4 is an unreleased mod that we’re really excited about. Then we have Fallout: Miami. America Rising 2 is another fan DLC/expansion mod that integrated the Enclave faction into the main story with 24 main quests. Caves Of The Commonwealth is another fan expansion that adds 2-5 hours of new game content. Let’s also not forget Fallout London, which looks promising. You can also download Sim Settlements 2 – Chapter 3, Whispering Hills, a cool Silent Hill mod, and The Wilderness Mod. You can also download a new horror quest mod inspired by Lovecraft, Resident Evil, and Dead Space. Last month, we shared another quest mod for that as well. Oh, and the Mass Effect Evolution mod is back up for download.

Have fun and stay tuned for more!
