Netflix’s “The Thursday Murder Club” features a top-class cast

Films with top-class actors tend to be exceptionally successful, often despite their inferior storytelling. The Netflix film Red warning is a good example of such a scenario, with the overwhelming screen presence of Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot leading to the film becoming a major streaming hit. Thursday Murder Club boasts a strong ensemble cast, which will no doubt help the adaptation succeed when it hits the streaming platform. In fact, all four leads are well-known to TV and film fans: Brosnan plays James Bond, Imrie has appeared in over 180 films and TV series, and Helen Mirren and Ben Kingsley have won Oscars. This should appeal even to those who have never heard of the novel.
