Charlize Theron reveals she has seen Anya Taylor-Joy’s Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga; “It’s a beautiful film”

Charlize Theron recently revealed that she has seen George Miller’s latest post-apocalyptic action film Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. Theron, who played a pivotal role in the Mad Max franchise’s Fury Road, said that she loved the film. Charlize Theron reveals she saw Anya Taylor-Joy’s “Furiosa”

Charlize Theron played Imperator Furiosa in Mad Max: Fury Road alongside her co-star Tom Hardy. In the film, his character Max Rockatansky is involved in an intense street fight with Furiosa.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actress recently hosted her Africa Outreach Project’s fourth annual street festival, where she spoke to the newspaper and shared her thoughts on “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga,” the fifth installment in the Mad Max franchise.

The film is set before Fury Road and stars Anya Taylor-Joy as a younger version of Theron’s character. The Bombshell actress confirmed this to the newspaper, saying she had seen Miller’s latest project and said, “It’s incredible, it’s a beautiful film.”

Charlize Theron also revealed that she hasn’t had much chance to speak to Anya Taylor-Joy since the film came out. She said they often bump into each other unexpectedly but haven’t found time to sit down and talk. “We keep thinking, ‘Oh my God, okay, let’s get together!’ And then life takes over. But it will happen when it’s right.”

Anya Taylor-Joy praises Charlize Theron’s performance in Mad Max: Fury Road

In a previous interview with CNN, Anya Taylor-Joy raved about legendary actress Charlize Theron’s performance in Fury Road (2015). The actress mentioned that she is now in touch with Theron since they both have roles in the franchise.

She said: “We’ve exchanged a lot of emails. We met at the Oscars and she is as nice, accommodating and cool as you could imagine.”

Anya also mentioned that she feels lucky to share a role with the actress, noting that Theron’s performance in Fury Road made her fall in love with the character of Furiosa.
