The 40-year-old singer from the 2000s has aged barely 22 years after being “pushed” out of her girl group after a bandmate “threw KFC at her”

NOUGHTIES icon Naturi Naughton-Lewis looks absolutely incredible more than 20 years after she first rose to fame with girl group 3LW.

The 40-year-old singer could easily be mistaken for a woman in her 20s, and last week she appeared on New York City talk show “Hoda and Jenna” to talk about her latest work.

Although she was originally a pop star, Naturi is now a full-fledged actress and appears as Tasha St. Patrick in 50 Cent’s hugely successful “Power” series.

She also played Lil Kim in the acclaimed film Notorious, based on the life of Notorious BIG, Christopher “Biggie Smalls” Wallace.

Now she stars in the Lifetime movie “Abducted at an HBCU: A Black Girl Missing Movie.”

However, her career began in 1999 when she joined Adrienne Bailon and Kiely Williams at 3LW at the age of 15.

The group catapulted into the RnB stratosphere with the release of their first single, “No More (Baby I’ma Do Right)” in 2000 and became icons with their self-titled debut album, which went platinum and sold over 1.3 million copies.

However, her time in the band was abruptly ended due to ongoing feuds within the band shortly before the release of the LP “A Girl Can Mack” in August 2002.

Naturi said the other girls and the school administration forced her to leave the group.

Years later, it emerged that Kiely had thrown a plate of KFC at her during an argument.

Speaking about that moment in 2021, Kiely explained how her career had turned into a “fried chicken meme” but said: “I didn’t throw chicken at anyone. The chicken was in my hand, but if you call my mum a b***h, I’ll throw whatever.”

“At first everyone laughed, and that sucks, because that’s what I was kind of trying to get off my chest,” she told BET Presents: The Encore.

“That joke and the fact that everyone laughed when I brought out the chicken somehow confirmed everything I had been afraid of.

“This is killing me because it was so much more than that. Unfortunately, we were at a fast food restaurant. There’s nothing I can do about that.”

After the interview, she tweeted: “I throw my hands and everything in me over my mother. She is a saint.”

“If I had my phone in my hand instead of my dinner, that’s what she would have gotten. And none of you would have done anything differently. #betpresentstheencore.”

Naturi later continued working as a musician, starring as Lil Kim in “Notorious” before performing and recording songs for the soundtrack of the 2009 remake of “Fame.”

She later focused more on acting and appeared in “Mad Men” before landing roles in series such as “The Playboy Club”, “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” and “The Client List”.

In March 2017 she had her first child, a little girl.

She is now a proud mother of two and will give birth to a son in May 2023, a year after her wedding to film producer and entrepreneur Two Lewis.
