Diljit Dosanjh has been touring different parts of the world for quite some time now. His concerts get sold out in no time. The Udta Punjab star is currently on tour in Canada. The Punjabi actor and singer had a big surprise during his recent concert at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Canada. Justin Trudeau surprised Diljit by visiting the venue and shared a wonderful post on social media praising his fame and versatility.

In the pictures shared by both Diljit Dosanjh and Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, the two greet each other and have a warm conversation. The singer shared a video of Justin coming on stage, hugging him and posing for a fun video with the dancers. The Amar Singh Chamkila star wrote: “Diversity is Canada’s strength. Prime Minister @justinpjtrudeau came to see history being made: we sold out the Rogers Centre!”

Justin, on the other hand, praised Diljit for making history and selling out stadiums across the country. Trudeau’s caption reads: “Stopped by the Rogers Centre to wish @diljitdosanjh luck before his show. Canada is a great country – one where a man from Punjab can make history and sell out stadiums. Diversity isn’t just our strength. It’s a superpower.”

On the work front, Diljit Dosanjh’s Amar Singh Chamkila received a great response from one and all. The Netflix film, directed by Imtiaz Ali, is a musical biographical drama and also stars Parineeti Chopra. Diljit also made a guest appearance in the film Crew. Directed by Rajesh A Krishnan, the heist comedy stars Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kriti Sanon and Kapil Sharma (a guest appearance). The actor and singer was last seen in the Punjabi film Jatt & Juliet 3 opposite Neeru Bajwa.
