On July 21, the West Hollywood Soccer Club will host tryouts for its competitive squads in the LA Muni League and Santa Monica League (one was already held on July 14). Interested players are encouraged to attend and try out for various teams, with special squads for the all-gender, women’s and non-binary divisions.
LA Muni League rosters

Details about the trial training
Tryouts are open to club members, regulars and new players. Please note that there is no practice during tryouts. Participants must intend to join a competitive team and an application form must be completed prior to arriving for a tryout.

Women/Nonbinary
- Sunday, July 21, 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., Mar Vista Recreation Center (11430 Woodbine St)
Men/All Genders
- Sunday, July 21, 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., Mar Vista Recreation Center (11430 Woodbine St)
Important information
Team lineups will be announced by Friday, August 2nd, with the deadline to accept a place on the team being Sunday, August 4th. Tryouts will include small-sided and full-sided games, and players are encouraged to attend multiple tryouts.

- Competitive, for players with college level experience.

Eclipse (7 vs 7 and 11 vs 11, all genders)
- Most competitive, for college-level players.
- Captains: Caleb White, Erik Wagner (11 against 11); Lex Alvendia-Wienkers (7 against 7)
Fusion (11 against 11, all genders)
- Competitive oriented, for high school or college level players.
- Captains: Kyle Demorest-Lee, Zander Bashaw
Suns (11 vs. 11, all genders)
- Competitive oriented, for high school or college level players.
- Captains: Ethan Plemmons, Nick Chadwick, Abel Lemus
Expected commitment
Players must attend tryouts, demonstrate competitive playing ability, and commit to attending at least 7 of 10 regular season games. Failure to attend may result in removal from the roster.

All players joining a squad are required to pay an annual club dues ($50 for 2024) and additional league fees (approximately $75-80). Scholarships are available for those in need. For more information, visit (email protected).
