La Segunda celebrates its 109th birthday in Tampa Bay

This July, La Segunda celebrates an incredible milestone: its 109th anniversary on July 18. From its humble beginnings in Ybor City, La Segunda has expanded to four locations throughout the Tampa Bay Area, including St. Pete (2424 4th St N).

This Cuban bakery has been a treasured institution in the community since it was founded by Juan Moré in 1915. Under the leadership of fourth-generation owner Copeland Moré, La Segunda continues its tradition of authentic cuisine and local flair.

Celebrating more than a century of Cuban 5-star bread

La Segunda is offering exclusive promotions in all its stores on July 18. Only on this day, Cuban sandwiches are available for only $7 (excluding pressed sandwiches) and all turnovers (guava, guava with cheese and apple) are BOGO (Buy One, Get One Free).

These special prices apply to purchases at the Ybor City, Kennedy and St. Pete locations. The Seminole Heights location is also participating in the BOGO sales offer. Note that the promotion is limited to one per person and no changes or calls will be accepted.
