IBU ILWU Alcatraz Cruise Workers held a one-day ULP strike and demonstrated against the anti-union company

Workers on the Alcatraz Cruise ship in San Francisco, organized by the IBU ILWU, went on a one-day strike against unfair labor practices on July 13, 2024. The striking workers and their supporters gathered and talked about their health and safety concerns and their fight for local wages.
The company, which has a contract with the U.S. Park Service, was allowed to blatantly violate labor laws.
