Taylor Swift’s piano malfunctions during Milan Eras tour

Los Angeles, July 15: Pop icon Taylor Swift, who recently performed her second Eras tour show in Milan, experienced a minor glitch with her piano.

The singer-songwriter treated her fans to two surprise mashups during the secret song section of the concert, reports People magazine.

The mishap occurred after she performed a guitar mashup of the Fearless (Taylor’s Version) song “Mr. Perfectly Fine” and “Red” from Red (TV). Things took an unexpected turn when she switched to the piano.

According to People, the 14-time Grammy winner began with a mashup of “Getaway Car” and “Out of the Woods” from Reputation, but barely got past the first few lines when her piano, painted with colorful flowers, stopped working.

“We finally broke this thing,” Swift told the crowd as she peered under the piano’s lid, as seen in a fan video shared on TikTok.

You can also see a crew member trying to repair the instrument.

Another fan’s video on X shows the moment after the piano was repaired. Swift closed the lid and said, “Oh, I did it.”

Swift performed “Getaway Car” three more times on the Eras Tour, most memorably with frequent collaborator Jack Antonoff in East Rutherford, NJ.

Before her tour stop in Milan, Swift performed two shows in Switzerland, her first visit to this “breathtakingly beautiful” country, as she called it on Instagram.

To celebrate the 113th concert of the Eras Tour, she also treated the audience to her favorite songs in the “Secret Songs” section.

The singer opened the set with the Evermore track “Right Where You Left Me” and the song “All You Had To Do Was Stay” from 1989.
