Film about a book that makes people “cry like babies” hits theaters this year

A trailer has been released for a film based on the best-selling book It Ends With Us. The romantic drama stars Blake Lively, Justin Baldoni and Brandon Sklenar and is based on Colleen Hoover’s famous novel of the same name.

Today (May 16) at 2 p.m. the trailer for the film premiered on YouTube. Up to 110,000 people have already watched it.

The comments section was flooded with excited messages from fans eagerly awaiting the film’s release on August 9, 2024. Javer replied: “15 seconds, that’s all it takes. I remember reading that and it just blew my mind. I cried like a baby.”

Shisha added: “I’M LITERALLY CRYING. THIS LOOKS SO GOOD AND IS AS TRUE AS IT IS IN THE BOOKS. HOW COULD ANYONE DOUBT BLAKE AS LILY OR JUSTIN AS RYLE? They are so perfect for their respective roles. I’m already in tears. I CAN’T FUCKING WAIT.”

Nicole confessed: “The movie is going to be better than I imagined. I think I’m going to cry a lot.” Lily commented: “I’ve never cried so much just watching a trailer. I can’t wait for it to come out.”

It Ends With Us is a “courageous and deeply personal novel” by Colleen Hoover that addresses the issue of domestic violence and is based on her own parents’ marriage. The story is described as “heartbreaking” and “unforgettable.”

A synopsis of the book states: “Lily hasn’t always had it easy, but that has never stopped her from working hard for the life she wants to lead. She has come a long way since her childhood in small-town Maine – graduating from college, moving to Boston, and starting her own business.

“So when she senses a spark between herself and a gorgeous neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid, everything in Lily’s life suddenly seems almost too good to be true. Ryle is assertive, stubborn, maybe even a little arrogant. He’s also sensitive, brilliant, and has a huge soft spot for Lily.

“And his appearance in scrubs certainly doesn’t hurt. Lily can’t forget him. But Ryle’s complete aversion to relationships is disturbing. Even though Lily realizes she’s becoming the exception to his “no dating” rule, she can’t help but wonder what made him this way in the first place.

“As questions about her new relationship overwhelm her, so do thoughts of Atlas Corrigan – her first love and a link to the past she left behind. He was her soul mate, her protector. When Atlas suddenly reappears, everything Lily has built with Ryle is threatened.”
