“I’ve never felt so free, you damn ghost… I’ve never felt so good, I’ve landed on clouds.” Ready for something extra funky and fun? A music video for a song called “LOST!” by the Korean rapper known as RM (whose real name is Kim Nam-joon). The video was made by a French filmmaker named Aube Perrie and shows RM getting lost in all sorts of mazes, contraptions and loops and eventually escaping into a talk show. There is so much going on in it as his crew gets lost in endless offices and hallways. Aside from being super creative and visually dynamic, this music video successfully introduced me to RM and his music. Perrie describes it as a “cute experimental music video with lots of set transitions and some Escher influence.” In it, the star stars in Kim Namjoonstarring Audrey Kang, David H. Lee, Hee Shin, Stephany Yujin, Natalia Bulynia, Tarsvinder Singh Sihra, Miji Yi, Yasamin Saadati, and Kasra Nemati. Lose yourself with RM below.
