‘Now it’s scary’ – Love Island fans shudder as they claim Joey Essex is ‘obsessed’ with Grace after huge row

LOVE Island fans have slammed Joey Essex, claiming he is “obsessed” with his villa ex Grace Jackson after an explosive showdown.

The pair couldn’t help but give each other a dressing down during a heated challenge on the ITV2 show.

As each couple competed against each other on the show, Joey and Grace constantly butted heads as Joey claimed that Grace still had the hots for him despite his committed relationship with Jessy.

The argument started when Grace was asked which boy she would get together with if she didn’t date Reuben.

Grace chose Josh, but this move upset Joey.

“I think if Grace had been completely honest, she would have written my name,” said Joey

“Stop stirring the pot, it’s so boring,” Grace countered.

Later in the game, Jessy Potts revealed that Joey doesn’t like her friendship with Grace.

“He doesn’t like that I’m friends with Grace,” she said.

“It’s like Joey isn’t over the situation with Grace yet… you’re so worried about it,” Matilda Draper interjected.

It seems that most fans agree with Matilda and criticize Joey for the way he handled the argument.

One viewer criticised the former TOWIE star, saying: “Joey is OBSESSED with grace. It’s really scary now.”

Another added: “The way Joey was staring at Grace…. Whatever that means!”

A third wrote: “Joey is obsessed with Grace. The way he acted was so weird, that freak.”

Before a fourth posted: “Seen Joey in a totally different light. He acts like a complete p****.”

“You’re 33! Stop manipulating Grace, you little boy.”

Joey and Grace later tried to have a conversation, but it again ended in arguments.

Grace felt that Joey was not taking her arguments seriously because he constantly hinted that she wanted to be with him.
