Hicks Seafood House of Apopka officially opens its doors

It’s been a long road, but things are officially heating up at the newest player in the local dining scene in downtown Apopka.

After a bright and cheery facelift inside and out in the courtyard, the old Chuck’s Wagon store is now the official home of Hicks Seafood House of Apopka. Last Wednesday, the official grand opening was held with the Apopka Chamber of Commerce.

The grand opening was an exciting addition to the local gastronomy scene. The grand opening ceremony, attended by community leaders, residents and foodies, celebrated the launch of this new culinary project.

Owner William Hicks, a native of Apopka, has been in the food industry for 15 years and is committed to satisfying his customers and serving his community.

Hicks Seafood is located downtown at 441, but the city-owned parking lot between 441 and 5th Street is the smartest parking and access option.

With indoor and outdoor seating in the courtyard, great food and wonderful service, you’re sure to love Hicks! Come in and experience Hicks for yourself!

And even though Hicks has only been open for a few days, it already has a 4.8 rating on foodie website Yelp!
