Ryan Blaney wins NASCAR Cup Series race at Pocono, full results

NASCAR came to Pocono Raceway in Pennsylvania for an exciting weekend, and the Cup Series race provided some drama. Martin Truex Jr. and Denny Hamlin won the first two stages; however, neither was able to win the race. Hamlin tried to catch a Team Penske driver, but it wasn’t enough, leading to her second win of the 2024 NASCAR season.

Ryan Blaney won the Great American Getaway 400 at Pocono, securing his second victory of the 2024 NASCAR season. Blaney was able to move into the lead and had an excellent track position after Stage 2. The reigning NASCAR Cup Series champion was able to hold the lead and give himself the best chance of winning at Pocono.

Blaney has won two of the last five races and could be hitting form before the Olympic break. The two victories for the No. 12 team have boosted his playoff points total, and he will look to carry the momentum into Indianapolis Motor Speedway next weekend.
