4-star SG Braylon Mullins comes for official visit

4-star SG Braylon Mullins comes for official visit

As his rebuild begins in Ann Arbor, Michigan basketball coach Dusty May has been actively recruiting for players since the Wolverines rebuilt their 2024-25 roster.

On Sunday, it was announced that one of May’s top prospects, the four-star shooting guard from Greenfield (Ind.) Central, Braylon Mullinshad scheduled an official visit to Michigan for September 7. Mullins will also make official visits to Indiana, Purdue, Kentucky, North Carolina, Kansas, UConn and Tennessee.

September 7th will be a great weekend for Mullins to visit Ann Arbor. It will be a busy Saturday as the football team hosts the Texas Longhorns at the Big House. There’s a good chance Mullins will be at the game.

According to 247Sports’ composite rankings, Mullins is considered the No. 74 overall prospect, No. 13 shooting guard and No. 5 player from Indiana in the 2025 recruiting class. The 6-foot-5, 190-pound player has been on a real upswing since receiving an offer from Michigan on May 1. Since then, Mullins has received scholarship offers from 14 other schools and he has a total of 31 offers from NCAA Div. I programs.

May and the Wolverines are still looking for their first player for the 2025 class, although Michigan is well positioned with Mullins and several other talents. Five-star point guard from the IMG Academy in Bradenton (Florida) Darius Acuff Jr. recently included UM in his “Top Four,” while four-star combo guard Sidwell Friends from Washington (DC) Academic Lewis has included the Wolverines in his “Top Eight.” Michigan is also expecting a visit from the five-star combo guard from Orchard Lake (Mich.) St. Mary’s Trey McKinney and four-star combo guard Isaiah Denis of Davison (NC) Day on the weekend of September 21st.
