Milwaukee Brewers 2024 MLB Draft Class Tracker: Signing Bonus, Signing Deadline

The 2024 MLB Draft has begun. The Milwaukee Brewers will select 22 players in the 20-round draft over the course of three days.

Here we track every Brewers pick in the draft, as well as their signing bonus. Players drafted in rounds 11-20 will receive any signing bonus over $150,000 for Milwaukee’s bonus pool. Additionally, any high school or junior college player drafted in rounds 11-20 who doesn’t sign and attends a two-year school can sign with their draft teams for up to $250,000 until one week before the following year’s draft.

The Brewers can pay a maximum of 5% over their bonus pool to sign their picks. They simply have to pay a tax on any excess. Anything over 5% means a loss of future draft picks. No team has ever done that. Last year, the Brewers came within $29 of that 5% mark, essentially maximizing their available money.
