Lewis Capaldi has said he will “never come home” in a new video ahead of England’s Euro 2024 final against Spain in Berlin on Sunday.
The Scottish singer said he could not understand England’s “optimism” when it came to the Three Lions playing “in any kind of competition”.
The “Someone You Loved” hitmaker urged Brits to stop being “pathetic bitches” and “get back down to earth.”
In a new TikTok video, Lewis told LadBible: “I’m never coming home, ever! I have no problem with England, the country, I love the English and I spend a lot of time here.”
Lewis further revealed that he had “no problem” with the English football players, but instead sharply criticized the fans.
He continued: “I have no problem with English players, I love them and spend a lot of time watching them play for their respective teams. They seem to be a great bunch.”
“But what I can’t stand is that I don’t understand the optimism you guys have when England takes part in any competition. It’s like you forget that we’re all destined to be miserable bitches.
“Every two years they say, ‘Come on England, we can do it’. Then you have to come back down to earth like the rest of us and be so damn pessimistic it hurts.”
“This is Britain, nobody wins. There is no turning back.”
Meanwhile, other A-list celebrities such as Ant and Dec, Amanda Holden and WAG Dani Dyer also took to social media to show their support for Gareth Southgate’s team ahead of their hoped-for victory in the 2024 Euro final.
England go into the match as underdogs, as Spain have won all six of their matches so far and the Three Lions have drawn four times in 90 minutes.
Former Love Island star Dani, 27, is in Berlin to support her England playing partner Jarrod Bowen and posed for snaps ahead of the game.
Dani posed in another picture before the game with her father, actor Danny (46), before meeting up with a few other WAGS for a few drinks.
Meanwhile, Kate Ferdinand had also flown to Berlin and shared a snapshot with the crowd in which she could be seen in a crop top while her former husband, footballer Rio, was carrying out his duties as a television presenter.

Dani was later seen celebrating with Aine May Kennedy, the partner of player Conor Gallagher, and Ellie Alderson, the girlfriend of striker Ollie Watkins.
Meanwhile, Amanda Holden made an impressive impression while watching the game in Spain, wearing the full England kit and an original hat.
She playfully sipped a Guinness and posed in the bar with a group of Spanish fans.
TV duo Ant and Dec shared a snap in their England shirts and passionately wrote in the caption: “Come on boys!!!”
The outpouring of support came as Gareth delivered an emotional message to his England heroes ahead of their rendezvous with destiny: “Go and fulfil your dreams.”
After a turbulent tournament, the national team will face Spain in the final of the 2024 European Championship on Sunday evening and Southgate said: “I don’t believe in fairy tales, but I believe in dreams and we have big dreams, but you have to make those things come true.”
“Our run, the late goals, the penalties, but that doesn’t mean we’ll make it. We have to perform.”
“If you want to create dreams, you need a vision. That lights a little fire. We know what it would mean (to win).”
The England men’s team have not won a major trophy since the 1966 World Cup and Southgate added: “We have to win this title to win the respect of the rest of the football world.”

“I went to World Cups and European Championships as an observer (before I became England manager) and we weren’t in the summaries on the big screens before the games. They only showed the finals and the big games.”
“We had high expectations, but they did not match our performance. Now we have achieved it.”
“Tomorrow I’m not afraid of what might happen because I’ve been through everything. I want my players to feel that fearlessness… If we’re not afraid of losing, we have a better chance of winning.”
The three will be playing in their second consecutive European Championship final after their defeat against Italy at Wembley in 2021.
The team lost on home soil in a penalty shootout and this evening will be remembered for a long time by those involved.
“I think it shows first and foremost incredible consistency,” said captain Harry Kane on Saturday night. “Many of us were obviously heartbroken about the result after that final because, as always, it’s been a long road back to get to where we are now.”
“The boys deserve all the credit for the resilience we showed. That speaks volumes about the mentality of the team. We are over the moon to be in this situation and to be in a European final again. Of course, we are keen to go one step further than last time.”
England go into the match as underdogs, as Spain have won all six of their matches so far and the Three Lions have drawn four times in 90 minutes.
However, Southgate was not bothered by this and is happy that his planning has paid off so far.
He added: “We didn’t have much time on the training pitch, but we met several times to assess the opponent and find the best way to play against them.”
“But our messages haven’t really changed in the six or seven weeks we’ve been together. We had a long-term vision and always broke it down into smaller parts.”
