Terry Crews and Tichina Arnold are ready for a “funny” reunion with Chris Rock in the animated series “Everybody Hates Chris”

Everyone still hates Chris brings the family back together!

On Tuesday, diversity announced that some original Everyone hates Chris The cast – Chris Rock, Terry Crews and Tichina Arnold – will return to the animated reboot of the popular sitcom. Crews and Arnold shared the news in a fun Instagram video in which they can be seen jumping with excitement.

“Do you know why we’re so happy?” Arnold asks the camera before looking at Crews and adding, “Tell them why we’re smiling.”

“Everyone still hates Chrisit was announced today, folks,” says Crews. “The show we made is now animated!”

Arnold adds, “Oh, it will be so much fun. Let’s dance!”

The two start dancing together, laughing, before the video ends.

“We’ve been eagerly waiting to announce #EVERYBODY STILL HATES CHRIS animated series on @ComedyCentral – yay!” the caption read. “We are so excited about this new project. All the lovely people who rocked with us now have a chance to laugh at our animated characters. We thank you for your support.”

The post ended with the words: “Let’s go!!!”

Each of the 30-minute episodes, which air on Comedy Central, is narrated and executive produced by Rock. Tyler James Williams starred in the original as Chris.

Arnold and Crews will reprise their roles as Chris’ parents, while new cast members Tim Johnson Jr., Ozioma Akagha, Terrence Little Gardenhigh and Gunnar Sizemore will join them.

“I am very excited to introduce the world to another fun side of my childhood,” Rock said in a statement to Diversity.

Everyone hates Chris ran for four seasons from 2005 to 2009 on UPN and later on The CW. The animated spinoff was first announced in August 2022, but few details have been revealed so far.

In the 2022 press release, Chris McCarthy, President/CEO of Paramount Media Networks & MTV Entertainment Studios, spoke about the project.

“Chris Rock is one of the most gifted comedians of all time and we are thrilled to partner with him, 3 Arts and CBS Studios to bring this to life and welcome it as the next big hit,” McCarthy said.

Everyone hates Chris can be streamed on Tubi and Prime Video.
