This 500-page ELDEN RING lore book looks fantastic, and its premium edition costs $1,104 — GeekTyrant

The tradition of Elden Ring is so large and complex that it is difficult to keep track of everything that happens in the game with each of its characters.

For those of you wondering what the heck is going on in FromSoftware’s epic open-world fantasy action RPG, there’s an impressive 500-page book that gives you details on the entire lore of Elden Ring.

Grace Given: The Mythology of Elden Ring comes from Geoff “SmoughTown” Truscott, the same person who previously created a 35-hour video series attempting to cover the entire lore of the action RPG.

In the book, SmoughTown offers a “comprehensive and in-depth look at the mythology underlying Miyazaki’s latest masterpiece.”

The book is not officially endorsed by FromSoftware or Bandai Namco, so SmoughTown has taken the time to do all the homework and research so the rest of us don’t have to.

The book also features illustrations by artists Shimhaq, MenasLG, Chris Lewis Lee and Elliott Wells and even has varying degrees of gold trim. It all depends on how much you want to spend.

Pre-ordering the cheapest version of the book, the so-called “Collector’s Edition,” costs $279.

Then there is the “Limited Edition”, which costs $773.

And finally, for the version of the book that does them all, the “Benefactor Edition,” you’ll have to shell out $1,104!

The more expensive versions of the book both have gilt-edged decoration on all three sides instead of just one and also come with a wooden slipcase instead of a flocked velvet one.

In addition, the book itself is bound in “genuine leather, ivory Flanders grain” rather than the white imitation leather of the cheaper version, although the size and number of pages are the same.

Buyers of the limited edition or donor edition will also receive a signed and numbered collector’s art print by Shimhaq. And to top off the donor edition, your name will be printed on the back of all future editions.
