The unique consumables “Iris of Grace” and “Iris of Occultation” have a special use in two NPC quests in “Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree”.

Death Knight are a new addition to the Elden Ring Lore. In the game it is said that they are servants of Godwyn, which makes sense since the Death Knight boss we face is found near the Eldritch Head, which is on the lowest level of Stormveil Castle and Deeproot Depths. For this reason, it is no surprise that the Death Knight Set is appropriately macabre. This guide will show players exactly where to find it and provide the basic details and stats.

Death Knight Armor Set Overview: Parts and Stats

SOTE-DK-Set

In Elden Ring: Shadow of the Earth TreeThe Death Knight armor set consists of four pieces: the armor, the gauntlets, the greaves, and the helmet. With all four pieces equipped, the Death Knight set weighs 25.9.

The Death Knight set is relatively light for the protection it offers. While it doesn’t offer the highest physical protection, it has two important strengths: it is well resistant to lightning and has high vitality. This set also has a special blessing that makes it incredibly useful for players with an Ancient Dragon build. From the item description: Improves the skills and summons of the capital’s ancient dragon cult.

Where can I find the Death Knight armor set location?

SOTE-DK card

To obtain the Death Knight armor, Shadow of the Earth Treeyou must head to the Darklight Catacombs, in the lowest levels of the Scadu Altus. To reach the Darklight Catacombs, you should start at the Recluses’ River Downstream Sanctuary. Just to the left, off the cliff, you will find several large tombstones that will lead you down to a river, just next to the first waterfall. Head to the right side of the waterfall’s edge and you will see another row of tombstones that will lead you down yet another level. Once again, you will find yourself by a river. This time, ride south until you reach the next waterfall. On the left side of the waterfall, you will find the third and final row of tombstones that will lead you down to a mist-covered field. Shadow Militia members will be waiting for you below. Stay on the rock wall to the left and ride east. The Darklight Catacombs will be very close.

Once you reach the catacombs, you’ll want to head to the second elevator. After exiting the elevator, go down the stairs and look over the railing to the left. You’ll see a very small ledge that you can land on by using the small gap at the end of the railing. Follow the path to a small opening that leads to a secret chamber. Once you enter, you’ll find a gargoyle hanging from the ceiling, a spell-casting enemy on the right, and the Death Knight on the left, on the body of a dead knight. Make sure to take out the enemies first, as they can knock you over the ledge if you try to grab the armor first.
