Jax Taylor announces previously unseen drama in “The Valley”

Jax Taylor says that a lot of drama in the first season of The valley. But he hopes to change that in season 2.

“We’re starting again,” he revealed on the June 20 episode of his podcast “When Reality Hits” with his estranged wife Brittany Cartwright. “I don’t know if I can name the day, but in July… a lot is going to happen. A lot is going to happen.”

“I will make sure that some things are told this time,” he added. “Many were wondering, ‘Why wasn’t this shown?’ … That will not happen (this time). Some of you will be in for a surprise.”

Jax has a new game plan

Jax is still number 1 in the group…or is he?

“I don’t need to stir up drama,” Jax continued. “It’s already there. They just haven’t shown it on TV and I’m shocked. I’m excited for the season, but the cat needs to be let out of the bag on a few different things.”

Jax also hinted that there was bad blood between him and one of his unnamed co-stars. He mentioned several times that there was someone he wouldn’t invite to his upcoming birthday party, but he never said who it was. Is Jax five? That’s how it is with spoiled kids.

The Valley, a spin-off of Vanderpump Rules, premiered in March. The show stars Pump Rules alumnae Jax and Brittany, as well as Kristen Doute. The premise of the show is to follow a group of friends as they grow up and move to the suburbs to start families and hopefully become adults.

The end of the fairy tale

Season 1 was about the separation of two couples: Jax and Britt separated and Jesse and Michelle Lally filed for divorce after filming ended.

Several months after production on the first season ended, cameras rolled again to capture Jax and Brittany’s separation and their efforts to co-parent their three-year-old son, Cruz.

“Why didn’t you change?” Britt asked her estranged husband on the June 4 episode. “You yelled at me and said horrible things to me, like I had no friends here and nobody liked me here.”

“As soon as these cameras are turned off,” she added, “you’re going to… text me angry. Be honest.”

“It’s been an incredible nine years,” Jax said in a confessional prayer. “I don’t regret anything… I love my wife. The only thing that will determine that is time.” But then there are rumors that Jax has a new girlfriend. Doesn’t sound like he wants to make things right again.

But if Jax wants a reconciliation, he’s got a tough job ahead of him, because his wife sounds like she’s had enough of his bullshit. “I know I’ve put up with a lot of crap that Jax has put me through,” she told the cameras. “But I wouldn’t have Cruz if I had gotten rid of him a long time ago. Now that I have Cruz and have woken up from the situation, I just feel like I can’t stay here anymore for his sake and for my sanity.”

All episodes of The Valley are now streaming on Peacock.
