Vijay lends his voice to ‘Kaithi 2’! | Tamil Movie News

The Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU) has become a huge success in Kollywood after director Lokesh Kanagaraj’s films ‘Master’, ‘Kaithi’, ‘Vikram’ and ‘Leo’ created a ripple effect at the box office upon their release. The director is expected to work with Karthi again in ‘Kaithi 2’ and the actor recently confirmed the project.


Glitz reported that Kaithi 2 will feature all the actors from LCU including Karthi as Dilli, Suriya as Rolex and Kamal Haasan as Vikram and all of them will come together in the upcoming film. However, since Vijay has decided to retire from the entertainment industry after his last film GOAT, as the actor may not act in films anymore, the makers have planned to use only his voice in the film.


If anyone remembers the climax of Leo, it was Vijay’s conversation with Kamal Haasan and his fight against the drug lord. Vijay is expected to reprise his role as Leo in Kaithi 2 with his voice alone and many other exciting scenes from the LCU will be revealed in Kaithi 2.


Meanwhile, Lokesh Kanagaraj is all set to work on Coolie, a standalone film in which Rajinikanth will play the lead role. The film also features Sathyaraj and Shruti Haasan in important roles and is about gold smuggling. The pre-production work has been completed and the shooting is expected to begin soon.
