Taylor Swift made two big changes to her Eras Tour outfits during her performance in Milan, Italy on July 13 – and her fans are now convinced they know the reason why
Taylor Swift amazed her fans when she took the stage on the first night of her coveted Eras Tour in Milan.
The 34-year-old singer, known for her glamorous tour looks, broke with tradition when she wore not one but two new ensembles during her performance last night.
Taylor usually takes the stage for her Fearless performance in a series of gold and silver dresses, but this time the singer elicited audible gasps when she emerged in a chic tiger-striped and chevron-print dress.

But the surprises didn’t end there. Instead of wearing her usual white Vivienne Westwood corset dress with the words “I love you, it’s ruining my life” for the set of The Tortured Poets Department, our pop queen decided to go for a different approach.
She kept the same style, but replaced the emotional lines from “Fortnight” that usually adorn her dress with a defiant one: “Who’s afraid of little old me? You should be.”
With these unexpected twists, Swift’s fans were left in eager anticipation of what other surprises her second night would bring.
Swifties are excited about the hitmaker’s wardrobe choice, sparking theories about an album release. One fan speculated on social media: “OMG new rep style dress and blue/blue my theory she’s going to release a double album with Taylor Swift and reputation is getting more and more true,” linking her all-blue outfit to the 1989 set.
Another enthusiast raved about the fresh look: “THE NEW DRESS IS SO CUTE, LOOKS A BIT LIKE A PINK WHEEL.”
Meanwhile, a third observer mused, “OK, A NEW FEARLESS DRESS THAT IS REPUTATION CODED, HMM, WHAT IF TAYLOR WEARS A NEW DRESS FOR AN ERA ON EVERY SHOW AND FINALLY WEARS A NEW DRESS FOR THE REPUTATION ERA AND ANNOUNCES REPUTATION TV!? !? CLOWNS, WALK WITH ME.”
Regarding the TTPD dress, someone commented, “Taylor’s new dress says, ‘Who’s afraid of me?’ Because we SHOULD fear her and she wants us to know that, like she has such a stranglehold on us it’s insane.”
Another echoed the sentiment, saying, “WE ARE AFRAID OF HER.” And yet another added, “I’m afraid Rep TV is coming, I’m just messing around.”
The attention to detail wasn’t limited to the dresses; fans also noticed a change in Swift’s gloves during the TTPD performance. Swift, who traditionally wears plain black or white gloves, debuted black sequined gloves in London and switched to white and silver sequined gloves for her Milan performance.
After wild speculation about a major announcement on July 13, fans were convinced that Taylor Swift would either announce “Reputation (Taylor’s Version)” or release the music video for “I Can Do it With A Broken Heart,” the next single from her latest album.
