Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes let their love flow at the 2024 Met Gala (check out those flowers!)

Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes brought their chic style to the 2024 Met Gala!

On May 6, the two took their love to fashion’s biggest night, where they debuted in looks that definitely left mouths open.

Ballerini took this year’s theme (“Sleeping Beauty: Fashion That Reawakens”) and dress code (titled “The Garden of Time”) literally, adorning herself from head to toe in colorful floral appliqués.

The design from Michael Kors’ couture collection features orange, pink and yellow floral embellishments along the flowing cape sleeves and dress, which also features strategically placed sheer panels for a touch of sexiness. The country singer also accessorized her bun with the same flowers and kept the spring vibe going with custom floral jewelry from Simon G. Jewelry, including 18-karat gold, diamond and sapphire rings and earrings.

In the meantime Outer banks The star dazzled in a black suit from the Michael Kors Collection, embellished with sequins that caught the light from every angle. He accessorized his low-cut blazer (which he later unbuttoned to show off his abs) with statement necklaces and wore his signature hairstyle in a sleek “wet” look.

Before the big reveal, Stokes had two words for her ensembles: “fucking awesome.”

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, the actor hinted that their looks reflect each of their personalities. “I think we complement each other more than we coordinate,” he said.

On the carpet, Stokes, who collaborated with Motorola for his debut, couldn’t help but gush even more about his girlfriend’s amazing outfit. When PEOPLE asked him what he thought of Ballerini’s look, all he could say was that it was “5,000 out of 10.”

The couple sparked dating rumors back in January 2023 when Stokes posted a soft launch of himself and Ballerini at the Georgia vs. TCU game at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

Before Stokes, Ballerini was married to her ex-husband Morgan Evans, 39, for nearly five years.

Now, Stokes and Ballerini seem to have developed a routine together, appearing at events and posing for the camera as a couple. The pair were photographed at the Country Music Awards, where Stokes supported his girlfriend, who was nominated for CMT Performance of the Year.
