Taylor Swift swallows a beetle for the third time during the Milan tour; F1 driver Charles Leclerc is in attendance

Taylor Swift is in the Italian city for two nights, July 13 and 14, for her highly anticipated Eras Tour. The first night of Taylor’s Milan tour was celebrated on Saturday with a performance at the San Siro Stadium in Milan. The evening was filled with bugs, celebrities, new tour outfits and surprises from both sides of the stage.

Taylor swallows a beetle to the surprise of the crowd

The crowd at San Siro surprised Taylor just before her piano performance when they chanted “Sei Bellisima,” which means “You are beautiful.” In a video shared by a concertgoer on X, the “Lover” singer sat next to her piano as the crowd cheered her on with “Sei Bellisam.” The singer was more than surprised and covered her mouth when she realized it was for her. She said, “Wow, no one has ever been so nice to me in my entire life,” USA Today reported.

The pop sensation then continued her piano playing, where she played Red (Taylor’s version), and it made for the perfect moment of bliss in the stadium when an insect flew into Taylor’s mouth, causing her to cough and pause. She said, “There are so many bugs here tonight.” This is the third time she has swallowed a bug while performing on stage during the Eras Tour. Previously, Taylor swallowed an insect on the third night of the London tour at Wembley Stadium and on the third night in Chicago at Soldier Field.

F1 racing sensation Charles Leclerc at the concert

In a least expected crossover, popular F1 racer Charles Leclerc was at Taylor’s concert in Milan alongside his best friend and fellow racer Pierre Gasly. Both racers were spotted at the concert alongside their partners Alexandra Saint Mleux and Kika Cerqueira Gomes. Fans were quick to spot Leclerc and Mleux, who have been in the spotlight since they began dating in March 2023.

Leclerc also shared a video of his handful of pearl bracelets, widely associated with Taylor’s concert, on his Instagram story. He wrote, “The Swifties were very generous to us tonight. We had so much fun,” and he tagged Mleux in the story.

Taylor unveils new outfits in Milan

Taylor also unveiled dresses from “Fearless” and “Tortured Poets” in Milan, Italy, which left fans in a frenzy as a possible new announcement never came. Fearless’s outfit was a jewel of sparkle and glitter, similar to other outfits the singer has worn at numerous concerts. The only difference in this outfit was the gold and black tiger stripes. Tortured Poets’ dress was a beautiful white dress similar to the one the Folklore singer wore at the European shows. The white dress had the text “Who’s fraid of little old me? You should be.” printed on it.
