Key factors in customers’ choice of a mobile operator: price, reception, speed

A good price-performance ratio, high reception and a fast surfing experience – these are the most important factors for customers when choosing a mobile phone provider, according to a study by a geocartography group led by Prof. Avi Dagani and Dr. Rina Dagani.

According to the survey conducted last June, which included a nationwide and representative sample of the population, customers are also looking for reliable, fair and transparently managed companies with good service and personal attention, as well as high-volume surfing packages with widely distributed infrastructure. Another interesting statistic that emerged from the survey is that around a quarter of the public is considering changing their mobile operator in the coming year, with this percentage being lowest among partner customers.

The study shows that 41% of the public has heard of or is familiar with private 5G technology, while the main details some could name about the technology are speed, a private network and 5G. The study was initiated by communications group Partner, against the backdrop of the company’s recent mobile campaign that introduced the mobile network for the first time in Israel – the most advanced and secure in the world.

The company has started to automatically migrate all its mobile customers to the new network at no additional cost, while they keep their existing packages. All customers will benefit from the advantages of the new network: stability, security and encryption, continuity, high quality voice and video calls and high capacity. Customers who subscribe to Generation 5 packages will also benefit from higher browsing speeds and a better service experience in times of congestion.
