Zeynep’s journey, which tackles themes of belonging, identity and home, speaks and resonates with audiences around the world.”

Zeynep’s life takes a turn when the family where her mother works as a cleaner offers to adopt her. Her parents agree, hoping to give her a better future. Zeynep grows up surrounded by love, education and beautiful things, but constantly feels out of place. The once poor and innocent girl turns into a smart, educated and beautiful young woman, engaged to a rich and ideal partner. However, her fairytale is abruptly interrupted when her biological mother reappears, determined to take her daughter back and bring her back to her roots.
