Influencer marketing company CreatorIQ hires Adobe and Omniture alumnus Chris Harrington as CEO

CreatorIQ, a provider of influencer marketing software, has hired digital marketing veteran Chris Harrington as CEO.

Harrington takes over the role from interim CEO Jon Namnath, co-founder of creator analytics platform Tribe Dynamics, which CreatorIQ acquired in 2021. Namnath, formerly chief growth officer, will remain a “key member” of CreatorIQ’s leadership team and a member of its board of directors, the company said. Six months ago, CreatorIQ founder and board member Igor Vaks stepped down as CEO.

Harrington has thirty years of experience building software-as-a-service companies, including serving as president of worldwide sales and customer service at web analytics company Omniture, which Adobe acquired for $1.8 billion in 2009. Harrington also served as president and board member of Domo, a cloud-based data experience platform.

Most recently, Harrington served as Chief Revenue Officer at Entrata, a property management software company, where he led all customer-facing activities. Prior to that, he served as CEO of enterprise sales management software provider InsideSales.

Harrington’s “dynamic leadership and vision are a perfect fit with our mission to make creator marketing measurable, integrated and essential,” CreatorIQ’s Vaks said in a statement. “Chris’ track record of innovation and success in scaling (software-as-a-service) companies makes me excited about what lies ahead. Chris’ compassionate leadership and commitment to our customers’ success make me confident we have the right leader for our future.”

Commenting on joining CreatorIQ, Harrington said that creators increasingly “play an integral role in building authentic relationships” with consumers who “focus their time and attention on the platforms that give them that sense of community.” He called CreatorIQ “the creative industries’ most secure and trusted software infrastructure” with a history of “driving scale, success and innovation for our customers.”

According to the company, brands and agencies using CreatorIQ’s platform include AB InBev, Logitech, Nestlé, RQ, Sephora, Unilever, Rare Beauty, Ulta Beauty, Gymshark, Movers+Shakers and Collectively.

Los Angeles-based CreatorIQ was founded in 2014. The company’s investors include TVC Capital, Kayne Partners Fund, Affinity Group, Unilever Ventures, Silver Lake Waterman and the growing private equity group of Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors.
