Ivanka’s heartfelt message comes after her brother Eric shared an exclusive comment with Page Six.

“The toughest man I’ve ever met,” Eric said of his 78-year-old father.

While Donald was speaking at his rally on Saturday, several shots were fired. A video shows the former president running for cover after being hit in the ear by a bullet.

Almost immediately after Donald hit the ground, he was surrounded by Secret Service agents. When he got up and was taken away, he was seen bleeding from the side of his face.

Finally, the participants of the rally were also escorted from the event because an active crime scene had occurred on the premises.

The former president later responded to the assassination with a statement published on his Truth Social page.

“I want to thank the United States Secret Service and all law enforcement agencies for their quick response to the shooting in Butler, Pennsylvania. Most importantly, I want to express my condolences to the family of the person killed at the rally and the family of another person who was seriously injured,” he wrote.

“It is unbelievable that such an act can take place in our country. Nothing is currently known about the shooter, who is now dead. I was hit by a bullet that pierced the upper right part of my ear.”
