Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards winners list: Barbie, Taylor Swift and more

Barbie was named the most popular film actress in 2024 and its star Margot Robbie Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards tonight. Other big winners were Percy Jackson and the Olympians as Most Popular Children’s Television Show, tied with the show’s Walker Scobell as Most Popular Male Television Star (Kids). Young Sheldon and star Iain Armitage also won the first awards in the categories “Most Popular Family TV Show” and “Most Popular Male TV Star (Family)” respectively. Spider-Man: Across The Spiderverse landed in “Favorite Animated Movie”, while the long-standing SpongeBob SquarePants won the trophy for most popular cartoon. Timothée Chalamet took home the award for most popular film actor for his role as Willy Wonka in Wonka. Olivia Rodrigo won the trophy “Favorite Female TV Star (Kids)” for her role as Nini in High School Musical: The Musical: The SeriesTaylor Swift took home three awards, including Favorite Female Artist, and Travis Kelce was named Favorite Male Sports Star. Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2024 aired live from their underwater home of Bikini Bottom and simulcast on Nickelodeon, TeenNick, Nicktoons, the Nick Jr. Channel, TVLand, CMT and MTV2. Highlights included Kelly Rowland presenting Serena Williams with the Legend Gold Blimp Award for her career in sports, fashion, beauty and lifestyle.

The show kicked off with a high energy dance number that featured Paul Russell performing his hit song “Lil Boo Thang” while a montage of all the shows, movies, music and popular internet sensations of the year was shown. The Kid LAROI also performed a medley of his chart-topping hit “Nights Like This,” his new single “Girls” and his hit song “Stay,” culminating in an epic slime routine.

Other notable appearances included celebrities Iain Armitage, MrBeast, Benny Blanco, Kylie Cantrall, Billie Eilish, Henry Golding, Mckenna Grace, DeAndre Hopkins, Montana Jordan, Ryan Kaji, Anna Kendrick, Post Malone, Shameik Moore, Rita Ora, Bella Poarch, Raegan Revord, Lexi Rivera, Margot Robbie, Olivia Rodrigo, Adam Sandler, Walker Scobell, Hannah Stocking, Heidi Klum, Jordan & Salish Matter and more.
