Singer/songwriter Chris Ekiss releases debut EP with Provident Entertainment

NASHVILLE, TN (JUNE 21, 2024)
Singer/songwriter and talented storyteller Chris Ekiss has released his debut EP Isn’t that like Jesus today, his first EP after announcing his signing with Provident Entertainment/Sony Music and Essential Music Publishing. “This project was inspired by reflection, growth and change,” Chris Ekiss shares. “Through the faith and energy of everyone around me, these 6 songs offer little glimpses of the goodness and mercy of Jesus in all of our lives. Thank you to each and every person who put in the work (from conception to completion and all the prayers in between) to create this EP. These are OUR stories, folks.”

Chris had the opportunity to collaborate with some of his best friends and mentors in the creation of this debut, including great producers/writers Hank Bentley, Colton Price, Jonathan Smith and Jacob Sooter. He is also joined on the title track by GRAMMY®-nominated singer, songwriter and producer David Leonard. Chris shares, “From being a fan to being a friend of David Leonard, it’s crazy that we get to sing a song together! I’m grateful that his story and mine have crossed so that we can both say, ‘Isn’t that like Jesus?'”
