Selena Gomez was the first to drop the L-word in her relationship with her boyfriend Benny Blanco.

The 31-year-old pop star revealed her excitement about taking things to the next level in a TikTok video with Blanco, in which the couple responded to a series of relationship superlatives by pointing to the partner they were referring to.

When the viral TikTok challenge asked, “Who said ‘I love you’ first?”, Gomez pointed to herself and mouthed the word “I” while Blanco, 36, hugged her.

The couple agreed on questions like “Who cleans the house?” and “Who eats the most?” (both Blanco), but disagreed on some superlatives. When asked who was more likely to fall asleep during a movie, both Blanco and Gomez pointed to themselves. When Gomez pointed to Blanco when asked “Who takes longer to get ready in the morning?”, Blanco looked shocked.

Blanco previously shared a glimpse into a typical Valentine’s Day in her household. The Songwriters Hall of Fame member accommodated Gomez’s native Texas cravings by whipping up a batch of fried pickles, using a brand he had flown in directly from the Lone Star State.

“Guys, it’s Valentine’s Day and these are my girlfriend’s favorite pickles,” Blanco said in the clip, which was shared on TikTok this Valentine’s Day. He added the caption, “Fry pickles and get laid.”

Blanco’s romantic gestures are obviously working, as insiders close to Gomez exclusively announced We weekly that the couple believes they can “hold on to the end.”
