Attack on Titan gets new trailer for “Declaration of War” from overseas

This summer, a country outside Japan will bring the attack on Titan franchise to life in a brand new way for die-hard fans. Starting August 12, 2024, Taipei, Taiwan will host the Attack on Titan: Declaration of War “i-Ride” – an immersive 3D experience based on Hajime Isayama’s popular dark fantasy shonen series.




I-Ride recently released the debut trailer for Attack on Titan: Declaration of Wargiving fans a taste of what to expect next month. The trailer features a stunning 3D rendering of attack on Titanunique world in which main characters such as Eren Yeager and Levi Ackerman appear. While i-Ride does not provide a description of the ride itself, many of the scenes in declaration of war are filmed from a first-person perspective in the air, giving the feeling of flying through the air like a member of the Scout Regiment. Attack on Titan’s “Declaration of War” offers fans an immersive flight experience

There is currently not much information available about the ride’s internal history – other than what can be gleaned from the title. declaration of warderived from a decisive moment in the attack on Titan Anime and manga. In this episode, the truth about the Great Titan War is fully revealed, causing Eren to completely abandon his dream of defeating the Titans and take a much darker path. At this point, it is unclear to what extent the i-Ride will adapt this famous story, if at all.


What is clear is that i-Ride is designed to simulate flight as realistically as possible. As detailed on the official website, i-Ride is described as an “unlimited flight office” – a futuristic organization designed to “awaken people’s primal dreams” through the wonder of flight. Using a three-foot-high dome wall, passengers are treated to a fully immersive experience, complete with “visual, auditory, olfactory and tactile” simulation. The integration of this technology for attack on Titan seems like a natural choice since ODM (omnidirectional maneuvering device) flight is such an important part of the cannon series.

Hajime Isayama’s Attack on Titan has already inspired numerous adaptations


Hajime Isayama’s Original attack on Titan Manga appeared in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine in October 2009. The series is set in a nightmarish world where people are brutally killed and eaten by gigantic monsters, the Titans. After losing his mother in a devastating Titan attack, young Eren Yeager dreams of wiping every last Titan off the face of the earth. However, when he joins the Survey Corps, Eren learns that he himself is capable of transforming into a Titan. This disturbing revelation soon leads Eren and his friends to the horrific reality of the Titans’ true origins. Since the manga’s release, several attack on Titan Adaptations have been created, including a successful anime series, two live-action films, and a musical adaptation starring Kurumu Okamiya (Craftsman colleague Jellyfish) as Eren.


Attack on Titan: Declaration of War is scheduled to open on August 12, 2024 in the Taiwanese city of Taipei. The original attack on Titan Manga is available in English from Kodansha US. Wit Studio and MAPPA’s attack on Titan The anime adaptation can be streamed on Hulu and Crunchyroll.
