I can’t control how Triple H or the writers book me

Chelsea Green knows that she has only limited control over what happens in the world of professional wrestling.

SmackDown Superstar Chelsea Green was recently a guest at Wrestling with Freddie before Money in the Bank. When asked if she had a clear picture of what she wanted to do next in WWE, Green answered very openly and honestly.

“Well, I’m definitely one of those people that as soon as I do something that I want to do, I move on to the next thing. I’ve always been like I can’t enjoy anything,” Chelsea Green said. “I just need to set a new goal for myself. And I mean, now of course Money in the Bank is coming up. I want to win Money in the Bank in my home country, of course, in front of all my friends and family.

“But when I got fired from WWE, I realized that work isn’t everything. So I started branching out and doing other things, testing my improv skills, my acting skills, getting an agent, and presenting myself in different ways. So I think all of my goals now are outside of wrestling because what I’m going to accomplish is going to be in wrestling.

You can only control how you look, how you dress and how you behave

“I have no control over how Triple H or the writers book me. It doesn’t matter how much you cheer for me. If they don’t want me to win Money in the Bank, if they don’t want me to go to Wrestlemania, they’re not going to let me there. And that’s the way it is. And you can’t keep yourself awake at night. The only thing you can do – and I’m sure my husband has told you this before – is that there are three things you can control: the way you look, the way you dress and the way you behave.

“So I go out there. I have new equipment every week, I show up with a smile whether I’m really scared or not, and I do my best. So my goals now go way beyond wrestling, it’s just lifestyle goals, family goals, things like that.”
