The Twisters The cast is led by Glen Powell, fresh from his Top Shooter: Maverick Success, and Daisy Edgar-Jones, who stars alongside Anthony Ramos, Brandon Perea and Sasha Lane.

During a recent interview with PEOPLE At the premiere of the film, Ramos reveals that Cruise was present at the Twisters Screening to support its Top Shooter: Maverick Co-star. Ramos further reveals that Cruise during the screening “lose your mind” in anticipation of the disaster movie’s sequel, frequently patting Ramos on the back as he reacts to the film’s various scenes. Glen was sitting behind me, my brother was next to me, and Tom was behind my brother. Tom was hitting me the whole movie. After the third time, I turned back around and was like, “Yo, Tom Cruise is freaking out!” He keeps hitting me. He keeps hitting me because he gets excited about different moments and he’s laughing. He’s laughing loudly the whole movie. He wasn’t afraid to express himself. I was super grateful for that. We hugged (after the movie). He was like, “Yo, bro, good man, good job.” So cheers for Tom Cruise, man. It was really cool.


Cruise isn’t the only one who loves Twisters

The sequel is currently receiving much better reviews than its predecessor.
