PEOPLE can exclusively see the colorful, nostalgic music video for “SOB” by Palmer (aka Keyana) along with Sadé, LaShay and Monét of DivaGurl

Actress, singer, presenter and author Keke Palmer can now add membership in a girl group to her extensive resume.

The Emmy winner – whose middle name is Keyana – teamed up with DivaGurl’s Sadé, LaShay and Monét to bring back the sound and feel of the ’90s with her debut single, “SOB,” and PEOPLE can exclusively premiere the colorful music video.

“I heard a few songs from the DivaGurl album and I fell in love,” Palmer, 30, tells PEOPLE of how the project came about. “I was so impressed that I asked them to open for me on tour and we even documented it for my network KeyTV.”
