When and where to see the Wienermobile in West Michigan

The legendary Oscar Mayer Wienermobile is scheduled to return to West Michigan this July.

Fans of the 27-foot-long, hot dog-shaped vehicle will have several opportunities to take a look at it and participate in some fun activities.

The Wienermobile will make its first stop at the Grand Rapids Downtown Market as part of the “Meet the Machines” event on Tuesday, July 23, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This family-friendly event allows visitors to explore various vehicles, including the Wienermobile, and participate in interactive activities.

After its performance in Grand Rapids, the Wienermobile will continue its tour with stops at two other locations in the area.

It will take place on Friday, July 26th from 10am to 3pm at the D&W Fresh Market on Apple Orchard Lane.

The next day, Saturday, July 27, Forest Hills Foods on Cascade Road SE will also be visited from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

At these stops, visitors can look forward to free Viennese pipes, bacon vouchers and other souvenirs.

There is also the opportunity to view the interior of the Wienermobil and take photos with the popular vehicle.

The Wienermobile has been a staple of American pop culture since its launch in 1936 as an advertisement for Oscar Mayer’s hot dogs.

It has been redesigned several times over the years, but continues to bring joy and excitement to communities across the country.
