Eminem pays tribute to his daughter Hailie Jade in a new song

Eminem, the famous rapper known for his candid lyrics and emotional depth, has dedicated his new song “Temporary” to his 28-year-old daughter Hailie Jade Scott. The track, part of his latest album “Death of Slim Shady”, was released on July 13 and has already won the hearts of fans worldwide.

The song begins with Eminem answering a question about his fears. “A lot of people ask me: Am I afraid of dying? / The truth is, I think what scares me the most is not being able to say all the things that I want to say to you when I’m not here anymore,” he raps. This touching introduction sets the stage for the song’s heartfelt message. “So, this song is for Hailie, for when that day comes.”

In “Temporary,” Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, envisions Hailie’s life after his death, assuring her that his love and support will continue even after she’s gone. “And, baby, be strong, I know I was your rock,” he raps. “And I still am, saying goodbye just ain’t / Never easy, why you crying? Just stop / Hailie, baby, dry your eyes, this ain’t forever.”

The song is from singer Skylar Grey and features adorable voice recordings of Hailie as a toddler, giving the song an extra layer of intimacy and nostalgia. Eminem’s devotion to Hailie is evident, as he has previously expressed in songs like “Hailie’s Song” and “Mockingbird.”
