Candace Owens responds to Eminem’s diss on “The Death of Slim Shady”

Candace Owens fires back at Eminem after the Detroit legend insulted her on his new album. The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce).

On the song “Lucifer,” the 51-year-old rapper takes on the conservative pundit and spits out the lines: “And Candice, oh, I’m not mad at her/ I won’t blame her for forgetting she’s black/ Laugh at her like the crackers she’s after.”

Em also calls Owens, 35, a “MAGA scumbag in a skirt” and gives her nicknames like “Great Wizard,” “Klandace” and “Great Dragon” before making plans to “get her dirty.”

Elsewhere on The death of Slim ShadyThe 15-time Grammy winner attacks Owens – a supporter of Donald Trump and critic of Black Lives Matter – again in the song “Bad One,” in which he raps that she “turned her back on her own race.”

Shortly after the album was released on Friday (July 12), Owens addressed the disses on her YouTube channel in an eight-minute rant, calling Eminem a “left-wing elitist” who “dresses up a race he doesn’t belong to.”

“You’re so irrelevant, your music isn’t good anymore,” she added, calling Em “Grandpa Shady.” “He’s a lesson to a lot of people out there that you need to know when it’s time for you to retire.”

“Some people also say that we get grayer as we get older. We know that’s true,” Owens said in a video on her YouTube channel. “But with Eminem, the former hardcore rapper, it seems like he’s getting older and gayer. Yes, Eminem could be gay.”

The death of Slim Shady features 19 tracks and includes the previously released singles “Houdini” and “Tobey” featuring Big Sean and BabyTron, as well as a follow-up to 1999’s “Guilty Conscience” featuring Dr. Dre. Eminem peppered the entire project with collaborations, including guest appearances from Jelly Roll, JID, Skylar Grey, Bizarre, Ez Mil and others.
