I loved the Eras tour, but I’m still waiting for that other Taylor Swift movie to become available for streaming

Taylor Swift is undoubtedly one of the biggest pop stars in the world, and that is partly due to Taylor Swift: The Era Tourbut despite its success, I’m missing one of Swift’s previous concert films. The 2023 film chronicles Swift’s record-breaking world stadium tour, which began in Arizona in March 2023 and will end in Vancouver in December 2024. The Eras Tour is the highest-grossing concert tour of all time. She’s earned more than a billion dollars, so it’s no surprise that Swift hired a camera crew to film her shows in Los Angeles and released the footage to the world.

A few months after its theatrical release, Swift’s 2023 concert film made its streaming debut on Disney+ under a different name – Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version). Now Swift’s fans (including me) can easily attend the Eras Tour without having to go through the hassle of finding concert tickets and paying a ridiculous price for them. to be able to observe Taylor Swift: The Era Tour on Disney+ is exciting, I can’t help but wish that another film by the singer-songwriter will soon return to the world of streaming.

Taylor Swift’s “Reputation Stadium Tour” is not being streamed anywhere

Unfortunately, Taylor Swift: The “Reputation” Stadium Tour is not available anywhere on streaming or VOD. Fans can’t even rent or buy Swift’s 2018 concert film. The Reputation Stadium Tour preceded the Eras Tour, and while it was big then, it didn’t match Swift’s current success. Still, it’s Swift’s most recent tour centered around an album, and the highly underrated Call is full of ideal songs to perform in a stadium. After attending a show myself, Call Swift’s Eras Tour is by far the most fun to sing and dance along to in a packed stadium.

Consequently, Taylor Swift: The Reputation Tour, which premiered exclusively on Netflix on December 31, 2018, was Swift’s best concert film before Taylor Swift: The Era Tour came. For one reason or another Taylor Swift: The Reputation Tour was removed from Netflix in January 2024. Netflix did not give a reason for removing the film from its library, and some speculate that it in connection with Swift do not have Call. It’s just one of the two albums that Swift didn’t do a “Taylor’s Version” for. Regardless, I’m devastated that Taylor Swift: The Reputation Tour has essentially disappeared.

How Taylor Swift’s “Reputation Stadium Tour” compares to the “Eras Tour Movie”

Taylor Swift: The “Eras” tour broke records

It is difficult to compare Taylor Swift: Reputation Stadium Tour To Taylor Swift: The Era Tour under the circumstances. The former mainly contains songs from one album, while the latter contains songs from Swift’s first 10 albums. The only era missing is The department for tortured poets, but that’s because Swift’s eleventh studio album was released in April 2024 and she didn’t add it to the Eras Tour until May 2024. It would be difficult for any of the singer-songwriter’s concert films to keep up Taylor Swift: The Era TourCall (Pun intended).

Taylor Swift: The Era Tour does the greatness of Taylor Swift: Reputation Stadium Tour. As mentioned above, Call contains several songs that will make anyone want to get up and dance. The 2018 concert film is just all around good and a tribute to one of Swift’s most underrated albums. Also, It’s nostalgic to look back at Swifts RCall Era by observing Taylor Swift: Reputation Stadium Tour, and that is no longer an option for fans. Hopefully this sad truth will change and the film will be streamed again soon.

The perfect time for Taylor Swift to re-release Taylor Swift: Reputation Stadium Tour is (fingers crossed) just around the corner. Swift still has to re-record two more albums before she has her entire catalog back, or at least her version of it. The artist’s debut album, Taylor Swift, And Call are the only two left, and it is essentially confirmed (via Swift’s Easter Eggs) that Call (Taylor’s Version) is coming next. So when Swift announces Call (Taylor’s Version)she should promote it by making her 2018 concert film available for streaming again, alongside Taylor Swift: The Era Tour.
