Travis Kelce reveals whether he will perform with Taylor Swift again

Travis Kelce already calls 2024 the “funniest year of my life.”

During his appearance at the 2024 American Century Championship in Nevada on Friday, July 12, the 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end spoke to Golf Channel about everything that has happened over the past few months.

At one point, the NFL star discussed whether fans could expect him to be on stage again with his girlfriend Taylor Swift (34) during her ongoing Eras Tour.

“It was the most fun year of my life, I can definitely say that,” Kelce told the outlet during the celebrity tournament at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course. “I said that after the Super Bowl (in 2023), when I played against my brother, meeting my brother on the mountain top was the highlight of my life. You know, it just kept going uphill from there.”

“Who knows, man,” he added, reflecting on another Super Bowl win. “Who knows where this will go if I get a chance to win again.”

When asked if there was a chance he would return to his skills as a background dancer – a reference to his cameo appearance during the Eras Tour on June 23 at London’s Wembley Stadium – Kelce didn’t give too much away.

“I’m not allowed to take anything out of my pocket,” he says, laughing, “but at the moment I’m in full football mode after golf.”

Elsewhere during the discussion, Kelce was asked about a possible third consecutive Super Bowl win. The athlete, who helped his Chiefs to titles in 2020, 2023 and 2024, revealed that while it would be a “long road” to do it again, he is “ready to get back to work.”

“Oh, you know it’s possible,” he said. “Anything is possible, you knew that.”

Although Kelce didn’t reveal anything about his return to the Eras Tour stage, he gave his fans an unforgettable show when he took the stage with Swift at one of her performances in London last month.

The surprise appearance came during Swift’s outfit change for “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart,” when Kelce lifted Swift off the stage floor and carried the superstar to a couch area where she changed her outfit.

Kelce wore a tuxedo and a top hat and also showed off a few dance moves.

A day after the performance, Swift mentioned the cameo on Instagram.

“Still laughing my head off/blown away by @killatrav’s Eras tour debut 🥰,” Swift wrote in the caption of an Instagram post about the London shows.

Kelce’s brief appearance on the Eras Tour wasn’t his only performance in recent weeks. During the charity golf tournament on Thursday, July 11, Kelce took the stage for a karaoke contest, singing Whitesnake’s 1982 hit “Here I Go Again.”

After winning the contest, Kelce excitedly jumped up and down and shouted to his better half: “Taylor, this is for you,” Kelce said in a video shared on X (formerly Twitter).
