A house was shot at eleven times in a drive-by shooting in Michigan’s Thumb

BAD AXE, MI – Police are investigating after a Bad Axe home was shot nearly a dozen times with a semi-automatic pistol.

The Bad Axe Police Department and Huron County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported shooting in the 300 block of South Silver Street around 1:45 a.m. Saturday, a news release said.

Officers learned that a man in a white sedan pulled up in front of the house, fired about 11 shots and drove away, police said. The house was hit by several shots, but there were no injuries.

It appears to be a targeted shooting and police believe there is no danger to the public.
