Hours before the scheduled opening of his show at Tampa Stadium, Wallen announced on social media that he was too ill to perform.

“I hate postponing shows, but I struggled through last night in Tampa when I was sick and unfortunately woke up today feeling much worse,” Wallen said. wrote on X.

Due to his illness, the “Last Night” singer postponed his concert at the city’s Raymond James Stadium until October 4. He also rescheduled his upcoming shows at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina, to October 18 and 19. Wallen’s next performance is scheduled for July 25 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Wallen’s worldwide One Night at a Time tour was a concert spree, often selling out multiple stadium shows in different cities, such as his three-night, sold-out run at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium earlier this year. Opening acts on select dates included Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, Nate Smith, Bryan Martin, Bailey Zimmerman, Ella Langley and others.

The Tennessee-born singer recently spent five weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart with his collaboration with Post Malone, “I Had Some Help,” which was released in mid-May. The track was dethroned by Sabrina Carpenter’s “Please Please Please” in late June.
