The Loguetown arc will finally take place in the next season

Before Luffy and the Straw Hats leave for the Grand Line, Buggy the Clown (Jeff Ward) and Alvida (Ilia Isorelys Paulino) express their mutual dislike for Luffy and his overly cheerful wanted poster. This moment hints at an exciting new storyline in One piecewhich suggests that Buggy and Alvira will appear again as villains in One piece Season 2 and will team up to try to defeat the Straw Hats. Although nothing was set in stone, the confirmation of The return of Jeff Ward and Ilia Isorelys Paulino to the live-action adaptation makes this new team seem all the more promising.

They are particularly problematic for the Straw Hat Pirates in Loguetown and beyond, as they constantly try to thwart Luffy’s plans.

In the original anime series, Buggy and Alvida join forces to form the Buggy and Alvida Alliance and, after their initial defeats, become another threat in the Straw Hat Pirates’ quest for supremacy. They are particularly problematic for the Straw Hat Pirates in Loguetown and beyond, as they constantly try to thwart Luffy’s plans. Although the The plot of Loguetown was omitted One piecefirst season Due to time and narrative constraints, I’m very excited to see what Buggy and Alvida do next, now that their inclusion in Season 2 has been confirmed.

Alvida and Buggy were two of the best characters in the live-action series “One Piece”

They make the future of One Piece more exciting

One of the best things about One pieceThe live-action adaptation is the cast. No expense was spared in casting, and each actor seemed to lift these flamboyant characters from the screen into this colorful world of piracy. Although Buggy the Clown was one of the series’ villains, he was one of the One pieces biggest stars. Jeff Ward’s portrayal of the complex character sparked an online storm that only made people love this villainous character even more. The same goes for Ilia Isorelys Paulino’s portrayal of Alvida, who made an incredible first impression as Luffy’s first nemesis.

Jeff Ward is best known for his role as Deke Shaw in 45 episodes of
Agents of SHIELD
and Ilia Isorelý’s Paulino was a hit in the 2023 Netflix comedy,
Family switch.

One piece The compressed plot of the first season meant that Buggy and Alvida didn’t feature much in the main storyline. However, their inclusion was an important prerequisite for the future of the live-action adaptation, as Buggy and Alvida become increasingly important figures in the Straw Hat’s journey. Despite their limited screen time, I’m so glad that these characters were able to come across so well on screen. It makes me even more excited for Season 2 and the future of the One piece Live action film holds.
